In Balinese tradition, it is said that someone must always be weeping for the sadness of the world so that others may live in joy. The Balinese believe that sharing your sorrows lessens the load, and sharing your joys helps you grow.
The weeping yogi carries your burdens on the strength of his back.
He reminds us that feeling deeply is part of the spiritual journey and that peace comes after allowing ourselves to release what we carry.
